D.C. United's deal with VW is set to expire. Before he ran off to Toronto, Kevin Payne told Steven Goff that "There has been nothing definitive, but we’re confident our relationship with Volkswagen will continue." This will likely hold true... The club has been fostering a relationship with LivingSocial over the past year, and the company seems committed to maintaining their headquarters in D.C. This one makes sense all around. Also, the potential for discounted jerseys is enticing, right?

Considering the ties of our most monied investor, I wouldn't be too surprised if the Indonesia Board of Tourism shows up on the shirts. Cities and countries finding their way onto soccer jerseys seems to be a recent trend, so it certainly isn't unprecedented. And their bird-thing even sort of matches our bird-thing!
