But he’s a hell of a player. We have a free kick specialist now, and a creative midfielder, as well as someone that’s going to take his own shots. Between Davies, Wolff, Pontius, Najar, and now DeRosario, that’s a hell of an attacking five. I like the signing of Brandon McDonald too. He gives us some good depth on the backline, and could allow Perry Kitchen to push Clyde Simms for defensive midfield responsibilities.

I’ll miss Dax, though. He was a great fit in the clubhouse and a good player, although I don’t know how well he ever fit our scheme. I’m curious what this will do to the chemistry of the team. It was a team of young players that all genuinely liked each other, and Dax was right at the middle of that. Let’s hope that winning is good for cameraderie.
