D.C. United travels west to the unfriendly confines of Robertson Stadium tonight. In whats expected to be a tough and physical match against the Houston Dynamo , United will be missing its most creative player substitute Branko Boskovic, who stayed behind in D.C. due to a knee contusion (or worse) suffered against the New England Revolution in Tuesday night's U.S. Open Cup loss.
Game time: 8:30 PM
Television: Fox Soccer Channel
Projected starting lineup: We won't see many changes to the D.C. lineup that fell 4-0 to the New York Red Bulls eight days ago. The only move that seems certain is the return of Jed Zayner, who will be making just his second start of the year with rookie Chris Korb heading back to the bench. If that's the only change though, many of us will be disappointed. I don't think I'm alone in hoping that Andy Najar will rejoin the starting 11 in place of Fred da Silva, who failed to make a significant enough impact on either side of the ball against New York.
This is your place for pre-game, in-game, and post-game discussion. And yeah, if you want to DVR the match and discuss it here tomorrow morning instead in victorious/hungover fashion after the Capitals win Game 1, we'll understand.
