None of these should come as any surprise, but Perry Kitchen is a finalist for MLS Rookie of the Year, Charlie Davies is in the running for Comeback Player of the Year, and DeRo is in the top 3 for league MVP. This marks the third straight year a member of the Black-and-Red has been a ROY finalist, as Andy Najar won last year, and Chris Pontius was a finalist the year before. As for the other two, those are a bit rarer. Personally, I'm looking forward to Bill Hamid claiming Goalkeeper of the Year in 2012 and finding out who next year's ROY finalist will be.
