USA-Honduras pregame

This isn't necessarily United related, but we do have 2 players in camp. Here's the team I'd like to see Bradley send out to start tonight's game against Honduras (9pm, FSC):

--------------- Findley --- Casey

Rogers - Feilhaber - Beckerman - Cameron

Bornstein ---- Conrad --- Marshall ---- Alston

---------------------- Perkins

Bench: Rimando, Goodson, Evans, Kljestan, Bedoya, Pontius, Cunningham

Bradley doesn't often send out the team that I would, so expect something else at kickoff.

Check back after the game for my thoughts on the US performance (hopefully with a focus on United's players in the squad).

Dude, they're going to miss you at SI....

It’s not gratuitous spamming if I post another link over there in lieu of you guys doing such a nice job over here now is it?
I’m already blowing up the spot commenting over here, just wondering if you and Shatz have any objection to steering the black and red faithful this direction?
I feel like in the short time this new blog has been up and running, it’s already surpassed many of the other fan blogs out there.
I think others would dig it as much as I do…:)
Keep up the good work, and I hope we see Pontius get into the match. That’d be cool.
Vamos United!
Go USA!

Speaking for myself, I’ll still be posting on SI. I’m going to guess that Shatz will be, too (having a blog never stopped him before, right?).

Sorry about the delay on this piece. Football, beer, and an unreal amount of smoked beef/pork put me to sleep the moment I got back from watching the NFC and AFC championship games. I’ll have a USA-Honduras piece up today.

Yeesh, that was brutal.

Ugh, that was ugly. If only they could have put the effort of the last ten minutes into the whole game!

Not much positive to take away from that game

I was looking for big performances by Findley, Cunningham, and Marshall, and none of them stepped up. I might have liked to have seen some more from Feilhaber, but he looked pretty dreadful too. Even though none of the goals were really Troy’s fault, he didn’t impress. Just an ugly, ugly game. At least no one got hurt.

Feilhaber looked better on the ball than I last remember him...

At times…
Whatev’s that sucked. So much for Conrad’s veteran stability…
Dax in the number 10 shirt is laughable. If not just straight up a joke.
When he came on in that shirt I thought it was some sort of South Park Episode!
